Matcha in a Cup:

Preparation:

  1. Add 2 g. of Tanuki Premium/Emerald matcha to a cup or bowl. 
    Tip: to avoid clumping, place a small sifter over the cup, scoop the matcha into the sifter and use the bottom of the matcha scoop to force the matcha into the bottom of the cup.
  2. Pour 2 oz. of water heated to 180 °C over the matcha into your cup or bowl.
  3. Using a whisk or frother and blend the matcha into the hot water. Have fun with this part. If using a whisk, try a zigzag motion for a few seconds until a frothy layer has formed on top.
  4. Add another 6 oz. of water heated to 180 °C and/or a splash of your favorite milk.
  5. Enjoy!

Matcha Latte Cup:

Preparation:

  1. Add 2 g. of Tanuki Premium/Emerald matcha to a cup or bowl. 
    Tip: to avoid clumping, place a small sifter over the cup, scoop the matcha into the sifter and use the bottom of the matcha scoop to force the matcha into the bottom of the cup.
  2. Pour 2 oz. of water heated to 180 °C over the matcha into your cup or bowl
  3. Using a whisk or frother, blend the matcha into the hot water. Have fun with this part. If using a whisk, try using a zigzag motion for a few seconds until a frothy layer has formed on top
  4. Pour steamed milk/almond milk or oat milk over the matcha. Add honey or any other desired sweetener.
  5. Enjoy!

  2. Pour 2 oz. of water heated to 180 °C over the matcha into your cup or bowl.
